DR. LEKAN AJISAFE

Dr. Lekan Ajisafe is an astute and well experienced insurance and reinsurance broker. He has over 20 years of experience in oil and gas, aviation and general risk management. He graduated from the prestigious University of Lagos with a BSc (Hons) in Insurance.

He holds an MBA from London Graduate School and Honorary Doctorate degree from Commonwealth University. He is also an alumnus of the University of Oxford. Leveraging his extensive expertise, Dr. Lekan Ajisafe has successfully managed numerous oil and aviation insurance accounts, making him one of the few experts in those fields in the insurance brokerage subsector. He has worked out partnership with London Lloyds insurance market and establish collaborations with notable Insurance Brokers in in the United Kingdom, United States, and South Africa. In addition to this, Dr. Ajisafe is an illustrious member of the University of Lagos Alumni Executive. Simultaneously, he doubles as the Group Chief Executive Officer of SIGNEXT Energy Nigeria Limited and Skyla Air Services Limited In 2012, Dr. Ajisafe took on the pivotal role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Post Assurance Brokers, aligning himself with a new management team to drive the company’s strategic vision. His leadership has been instrumental in steering Post Assurance Brokers towards unprecedented success.

He is a member of various professional bodies such as Chartered Insurance Institute London, Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers, Institute of Directors Nigeria, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, Nigerian-America Chamber of Commerce, Helicopters Association International (HAI) amongst others. His experience in the insurance placement in local and international markets has built a stronghold for POST Assurance Brokers and has consistently placed the company as one of the fastest growing businesses in Nigeria. Dr. Ajisafe is happily married with children.
